3rd I is a non-profit, national film organization committed to promoting diverse images of South Asians in independent film. We represent filmmakers from India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Nepal, Bhutan, Tibet, Sri Lanka, Maldives and the global South Asian Diaspora.

We support our mission by providing monthly film screenings, an annual film festival, networking resources and a distribution channel serving emerging and established film makers. Through our partnership efforts with numerous organizations we continue to build upon our extensive audience base for South Asian independent film in the United States.


3rd I SF is proud to announce the 3rd Annual San Francisco International South Asian Film Festival (SFISAFF) from November 11- 13, 2005 at the historic Castro Theatre and other venues in San Francisco. Our festival spotlights a range of films from art house classics to experimental shorts, next-level Bollywood to innovative documentaries.
