The 12th edition of 3rd i’s SFISAFF returns to the Bay Area Nov 6-9 (San Francisco), and Nov 15 (Palo Alto) in 2014, and features a special focus on music and dance in South Asian cinema!

Women Behind the Lens

Our Women Behind the Lens focus continues this year, with an incredible range of up and coming young filmmakers and Oscar hopefuls. Featured above is India's Official Entry to the Oscars this year,Liar's Dice, directed by Geethu Mohandas and featuring exceptional performances by Geeta Thapar and Nawazuddin Siddiqui.
Also on the program are the Castro Centerpiece, Afia Nathaniel's Dukhtar, and Pushpa Rawat and Anupama Srinivasan's intimate doc Nirnay, screening in Palo Alto.
