Chakra welcomes you in celebration of the festival of lights, in support of the SF International South Asian Film Festival with proceeds to benefit Project Ahimsa. Featuring two rooms of pure indian fusion in music, dance and classical dance.

Directors Yasmine Kabir, Arti Jain, Kirthi Nath, Alka Raghuram and Single Beige Female will be present for Q&A at the screening of A Certain Liberation - 7:00 pm, November 14, Roxie Theatre.

Classic Indian film Jukti Takko Aar Gappo (Reason, Argument, and Story) by Ritwik Gathak will be Introduced by Professor Sudipto Chatterjee of UC Berkeley. The film is reviewed in this week's India West by Ashfaq Swapan.

Professor Angana Chatterji from the Social and Cultural Anthropology Program at California Institute of Integral Studies is introducing the film Starkiss: Circus Girls in India - 5:00 pm, November 14, Roxie Theatre
