Let’s Be Out, the Sun is Shining is about a romantic Indian-American girl named Diya who falls in love with a hip Brooklyn bartender, Paddy, to whom everyone is disposable and no relationship is meant to last. Diya becomes immersed in his world of struggling actors/musicians/artists who live potentially displaced in Bushwick, a Latino immigrant neighborhood of Brooklyn, New York.
