3rd i Films invites you to take a journey through the contemporary landscape of experimental film/video/art in India. The talk will introduce audiences to a brief and selected history of non-human actors in Indian art cinema through films such as G. Aravindan’s Kanchana Sita and Kamal Swaroop’s Om-Dar-Ba-Dar, to arrive at the works of contemporary artists such as Tejal Shah, Neha Choksi, and Shine Shivan, amongst others.
